Environment Awareness

The current working areas of Society are Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Society observed that the environment conditions have been decreasing due to improper drainage system, accumulation of water, improper road/ streets, increase in vehicles etc. Awareness is created to the local residents including women for cleaning/ sanitation of houses etc. Women are also taught about keeping household wet and dry garbage separately.
Community members are also taught about importance of trees in our lives. As the pollution goes on increasing, it is important to maintain optimum ecological balance. Tree plantation drives are organized in partnership with schools on vacant lands and school playgrounds. Organization also holds Water & Sanitation (WASH) awareness activities into the community to spread the message of safe drinking water and hygiene. Different awareness tools are used to generate awareness like street plays, poster competition, writing competition, community meetings, rallies, pamphlet distribution etc.
As a result of these awareness campaigns there has been a tremendous improvement in the management of environment in areas of work.
